What a moon

This is the moon that rose over camp last night. We had been riding all day, the ground was rocky so there was a considerable amount of walking next to the horses .. but then we were rewarded with this beauty.
We have ridden close to 530 km and today is a very welcome rest day for horses and riders alike. It is turning out to be a rather extraordinary adventure. There are still 400 km to go or rather however long the horses feel up to the task.
